We are all concerned about COVID-19, and now we are spending more time at home. Now is a great time for meditation. We've listened to your concerns and are going online to bring you meditation straight to your living room! You will be able to see the instructor, and at times the instructor can see you.
Research is conclusive that meditation is beneficial to our well-being. This workshop is great for those new to meditation or struggling to commit to a regular mediation practice.
The workshop activities include:
Benefits of Meditation
How to be comfortable when meditating
Various techniques to support a calming and lasting practice
A home practice to personalize and take with you to use
You will receive the handouts by email for you to print.
All you need is the following:
Something to sit on. It can be a firm cushion, a bolster, or a chair.
Have a blanket.
If you have some blocks and yoga mat have that available. You do not have to have them.
A carpeted floor helps when lying on your back without a mat.
