This Fourth of July, Practice with Dogwood Studios!

Group classes at Dogwood Studios will follow our regular schedule throughout July. As everyone celebrates Fourth of July, you will find a few subs throughout the month and Joint Freeing Yoga on July 4th will be offered as an On Demand Video rather than a live class. 

This week’s schedule at Dogwood Studios:

  • Monday, July 3, 10:00-11:15 a.m. | Mindful Movement and Yoga (online)

  • Tuesday, July 4, 8:00-9:30 a.m. | Ageless Balance and Strength (online)

  • Tuesday, July 4 | Joint Freeing Yoga (*On-Demand) There is no live teacher for this week’s JF class. When you sign up, you will be emailed a link to rent the On Demand video on July 4th at 11am EST. You can then practice at your convenience for two days after renting the video. 

  • Wednesday, July 5, 10:00-11:15 a.m. | Mindful Movement and Yoga (In-Person at The Parlour or online)

  • Thursday, July 6, 8:00-9:30 a.m. | Ageless Balance and Strength (online)

  • Friday, July 7, 10:00-11:15 a.m. | Mindful Movement and Yoga

  • Friday, July 7, 11:20-11:50 a.m. | Group Meditation (In-Person at Yoga Shala or online)

4th of July gives us time to celebrate the joys of freedom. However, real freedom is an internal practice. Last month, in the interview with Amanda, Sam explains, “ we're most able to feel freedom when we are most in tune to our True Nature, who we are. So freedom to me is training up our ability to know our True Nature. And what helps support us to be feel free, not euphoric necessarily, but this time where we're free. We feel grounded. We feel calm, and more rested and when something big is thrown at us we still have those characteristics there. Freedom is also the action of training up freedom, which is also when we're able to recognize when we are not free.”
