More In Person Yoga and New Platinum Subscription for the spring!

After nearly 2 years of limited in-person classes, we are excited to announce that we will be expanding our in-person class options. Starting Monday March 21, all Mindful Movement classes (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday!) and Chakra Meditation on Fridays will be offered as hybrid classes. The In Person option for the classes will be held in the 2nd floor of the Clubhouse at Southern Village Club LLC. Please enter the space using the white staircase in the back of the building.

The Southern Village Clubhouse has beautiful wooden floors and large sunny windows that create a wonderful space for practicing yoga and being in community. The central location offers plenty of accessible parking. We are grateful for the opportunity to practice in-person in such a lovely and accommodating place.

We have also expanded our subscription packages to include a Platinum Subscription. This Platinum Subscription is for those who want monthly unlimited live In Person and Online classes. You will also receive unlimited access to the Learning Community On Demand Video Library. Current price is $120/month. NOTE: You will need to use up your class packages before the subscription to live classes can be used. You can switch from any other subscription to the Platinum also. 

We have updated our waiver for the expansion of In Person Practice and the associated inherent risk of Covid-19. You will be receiving a link to the new waiver via email on Monday. We require students to have the current version of our waiver electronically signed. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Pre-registration is required for all in-person classes. If you have not attended an In Person class with us, you will also have to show proof of vaccination. Sign up for the In Person Option of the classes as you would normally on our calendar. The class sign-up calendar has two classes to choose from: Online or In Person. Please choose the option that works best for you.

SAM Sather, founder of Dogwood Studios, is a certified yoga therapist (C-IAYT), individualizes the yoga practice with appropriate modifications for participants’ unique bodies and medical histories with a focus on finding calm and improving health. She offers several live, online and in person yoga classes as well as private sessions so you can focus on your needs one-on-one.

Ainslee Cunningham is a registered yoga teacher (RYT) and an intern at Dogwood Studio. She received her 200 hour YTT in 2020 with MindBody Centering Yoga in Durham with a focus on trauma-informed yoga. Inspired and influenced by nature, Ainslee supports people with the mind-body connection of yoga, especially those affected by addiction and trauma. 

Aviva Chaye Tulasi is a team member at Dogwood Studios. She is a certified yoga therapist (C-IAYT). She applies the teachings of classical yoga to reduce the effects of negative stress and to balance the nervous system. Aviva is available for private sessions.
