Maybe travel plans have put extra strain on your body or perhaps the stress associated with getting ready for the holiday season stiffens the body. Luckily, the next Friday Night Yin Yoga is this Friday. The slow pace of Yin Yoga provides an opportunity to release and to be in the moment. Relaxing muscles while holding poses for several minutes enhances the natural range of motion of the joints and facilitates a meditation practice.
A participant from last month’s Yin Yoga said, “My left side was really stiff, but luckily Friday's Yin Yoga took care of that.”
Friday Night Yin Yoga returns December 2nd @ 6:15 pm EST. Sam invites us to spend time in places we live in less to build our ability to not need an active state. Although each Yin pose is practiced on the floor, Sam offers numerous variations of the poses that will target the correct area but honor your individual body type and medical history.
