We are excited to return to The Parlour at Manns Chapel for our In Person Mindful Movement and Yoga! If In Person classes are not available to you right now, then you can sign up for the Online Option and your virtual presence will be appreciated. Whether you are practicing online or In Person, the practice of yoga is beneficial for your physical and mental health. A recent Indian survey concluded that practicing yoga is beneficial combating the isolation of a Covid lockdown. The study cites that those who practice yoga were more likely to have better lifestyle habits, quality sleep, physical ability, endurance, less anxiety, less stress, less fears, and overall better coping strategies.
After our self imposed break from In Person yoga in January, we are ready to welcome the return of In Person options for your practice. Practicing yoga in person allows for a three dimensional connection. You can look around the room and feel the presence of the participants. Along with the community connection, practicing in The Parlour’s intimate setting provides an opportunity to have less distractions. And don’t forget when you practice In Person there is no turning off the video so Sam will be able to tell if you are skipping your least favorite posture.
We want everyone to be healthy as they practice yoga. We keep a close eye on the CDC’s recommendations for Covid and will adjust when needed. The space at The Parlour easily accommodates 20 mats, but we are limiting the number of participants to 10. And remember there are no cancellation fees. If you are not feeling well or something comes up, you can easily cancel a reservation the morning of the class and have credit for another class. We ask that you let us know as soon as you can so we don’t expect you to join or worry about you.
