As we find ourselves amidst a season of slowing down, our hearts turn toward the community that continues to shape Dogwood Yoga Studio into a place of belonging. In yoga, we speak of Sangha, a gathering of people who walk a shared path, who choose again and again to practice in a way that uplifts not only themselves but the collective whole. A Sangha is not defined by walls or geography; it’s defined by the steady presence of individuals who show up with curiosity, courage, tenderness, and a willingness to grow.
This is the gift you have created here at Dogwood.
Each time you unroll your mat, settle into your breath, or share a laugh before practice, you are tending to the collective. The energy you bring, whether vibrant, weary, joyful, or tender, adds to a shared field that reminds us we never practice alone. We practice with one another, for one another, learning to inhabit our bodies, our breath, and our lives with a little more grace. Your dedication to this practice becomes a quiet kind of service, one that ripples out in unexpected ways.
Amidst the holiday season, we want to offer a bow of deep gratitude. Thank you for being part of this Sangha. Thank you for showing up - for yourself, for each other, and for this practice. May your holiday season be filled with peace and joy that glows gently from within, and moments of spacious rest as we transition into the month ahead. We look forward to continuing this journey together.
As we look ahead to the new year, mark you calendars for our next Osteoporosis and Yoga Workshop on Saturday, January 17th, 9:00am-1:00pm EST. Join us In-Person at Stonegate Studio or Online via Zoom. All registrants will receive a recording of the workshop for 7 days!
